Crop Production

Wheat
  • Irrigate second time after 40-45 days of sowing at the time of chitting and third time after 60-65 days of sowing at the time of node formation.
  • Use fodder made of Zinc Phosphide or tablets of Aluminium Phosphide to protect wheat crop from rat.
Barley
  • Irrigate barley second time after 55-60 days at the time of node formation.
Gram
  • Irrigate first before inflorescence.
  • Soil improvement by 2.5 kg. Trichoderma per hectare with 60-75 kg. Rotten compost manure before sowing to prevent crop from Ukatha disease.
Peas
  • Spray 80% soluble sulphur, 2.0 Kg dissolved in 500-600 liter of water per hectare at an interval of 10-12 days to prevent Powdery Mildew in peas in which white powder like substance is spread over leaves, stems and fruits.
Mustard seed
  • Second irrigation in Rye-Mustard at the time.
  • Mahu insect sucks sap from leaves, stems and fruits. To prevent it, spray 30%E.C.Diemothoate 1.0 liter dissolve in 650-750 liter water.
Winter Maize
  • Hoe second time and weeding after 40-45 days of sowing and take out weeds.
  • Second irrigation in maize after 55-60 days of sowing and third after 75-80 days after sowing.
Winter Sugar Cane
  • Irrigate as required.
  • Use 30 kg of Carbofuron 3% Cg per hectare to protect the sugar cane from various types of pest
Barseem
  • Cut and irrigate at an interval of 20-25 days. Irrigate after every cutting.

Cultivation of Vegetable

  • Spray 2kg per hectare 75%W.P.Mancojeb dissolved in 500-600 liter water to prevent Potato, Tomato and Chili from late Jhulsa.
  • Light irrigation at the time of flowering in peas. Second irrigation as required at the time of formation of pods.
  • Irrigate, weed and bund in vegetables of Cauliflower group.
  • Planting tomato for summer crop.
  • Start from now, preparation of field for Chili and Lady Finger in Jaid.

Cultivation of Fruits

  • Weed and clean the gardens.
  • Irrigate the gardens of newly plant Mango and Guava, Papaya, Litchi.
  • Spray 1.5 ml per liter Monochrotophos 36% solution to prevent mango from ants.
  • Preparation of thal and weeding for Indian gooseberry (Amla).
  • 10 kg dung/compost, 100 gm Nitrogen,50 gm phosphate and 75 gm potash is necessary for one year old Amla plant. This quantity will increase to 100 kg dung/compost, 1000 gm Nitrogen, 500 gm phosphate and 750 gm potash is necessary for one year old Amla plant. From the above, whole quantity of Phosphorous, half quantity of Nitrogen and half Potash is used in the month of January.

Flowers and other Scented Plants

  • Irrigate and weed timely in rose and bund as per requirement and plant it.
  • Plant suckers of Mentha 2.5 to 5.0 quintal suckers will be required per hectare.

Animal Husbandry and Dairying

  • Save animal from cold. Cover the animals by jute bags. Do not leave fire in animal shed.
  • Keep animal bed dry in animal shed.
  • Increase concentrate/grains in animal feed.
  • Deworming of animals to control liver fluke.
  • Vaccinate animals to prevent from Foot and Mouth disease.

Poultry

  • Give layer feed to egg layer hens.
  • Give enough light and heat to the chickens
