Crop Production

Wheat
  • Remove weeds and pods of other variety of wheat before harvesting so that it is not mixed with seeds of wheat at the time of threshing.
Barley/ Gram/Peas/Mustard/Split Green Gram
  • Complete harvesting and threshing of barley, gram, peas, mustard and split green gram.
Sunflower
  • Green insects suck the sap from leaves and damage it. To control it, spray 250 ml Phosphamidon per hectare.
Split Black Gram (Urd)/Split Green Gram (Moong)
  • Time for sowing of Split Black Gram is over but the Split Green Gram can be sown up to 10th April.
  • Control leaf borer insect in Split Black Gram (Urd)/Split Green Gram (Moong).
Winter/Spring Season Sugar cane
  • Irrigate as per need.
  • Between two rows of sugarcane, one rows of Split green gram (Moog) can be sown can be sown.
Green Fodder
  • Irrigate lightly the field of Bar seem seed otherwise vegetative growth will be more and seed production will be less.

Cultivation of Vegetables

  • Use of low tunnel poly house (with agro net) for preparation of nursery will produce good plants.
  • To prevent brinjal from shoot borer insect, spray of 4% Neemgiri at an interval of 10 days yields good results.
  • To protect Lady finger/Lobia from leaf borer insects, spray 1.0 liter per hectare 20% Quinolphos dissolved in 800 liter water.
  • Dig Garlic and Onion. Stop irrigation before 10 days of digging.
  • To control red rust insect, spray of ash in the morning at the time of dew, insects do not sit on the plant.
  • Yam (Suran) can be sown in the whole month while Ginger and Turmeric can be sown in the second fortnight of the month.
  • Approximately 18 quintal seed per hectare for ginger, 15-20 quintal seed per hectare for turmeric and 75 quintal seed per hectare for yam is required for sowing.
  • Treat seed of turmeric and ginger with 0.3% Copper oxychloride.

Horticulture

  • Cut and burn or burry deep in the earth the affected floral buds to prevent malformation in mango.
  • Spray 20 ml alpha naphthalene acetic acid 4.5% solution dissolved in 1 liter water to prevent mango from.
  • Irrigate garden of Litchi as per need. To control fruit borer, spray 0.5 ml per liter (0.05%0or 2ml per 5 ml water (0.04%) Dichlorovas.
  • Irrigate mango, guava, lemon, grapes, plum (Ber) and papaya.

Flowers and other Scented Plants

  • Irrigate, hoe and weeding of summer flowers like Portulaca, Xenia, Kochia plants.
  • Irrigate Mentha at an interval of 10-12 days and first cutting to extract oil.

Animal husbandry / Dairy development

  • Vaccinate animals to prevent them from Foot and Mouth disease.
  • Arrange easily digestive and nutritive feed according to seasonal changes.

Poultry

  • Culling of low egg layer hens.
  • De worming to control worm in the abdomen of the hens.
  • Arrange light, fresh air and balanced ration for hens according to seasonal changes.
  • Vaccinate for R.D. & Foul Pax on time
