  • National Mission on Oilseed and Oil palm:- According to the guide-lines issued by Government of India, National Mission on Oilseed and Oil palm is being implemented by reorganizing earlier scheme ISOPAM since the year 2014-15 which will increase the productivity of oil seed crop and the state will become self-sufficient in edible oils.
  • National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology: In accordance to guide-lines of Government of India, ATMA model was implemented up to 2013-1014 for agriculture extension. Since 2014-15, ATMA (Support to State Extension Program for Extension Reforms) is merged with national Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology. Under the new scheme, 4 sub-mission namely, sub- mission on agriculture extension, sub- mission of agriculture mechanization, sub-mission on seed and planting material and strengthening and modernization of pest management approach are being implemented.
  • National Crop Insurance Program: In accordance with the guide-lines of Government of India, National Crop Insurance program is being implemented since 2014-15 by integrating national crop scheme and season based crop insurance scheme. As a component of National Crop Insurance program, two program-National Crop Insurance Scheme and Season based Crop Insurance Scheme is being implemented.
  • Since 2016-17, Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme is being implemented in place of National Crop Insurance Program.
  • National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture: Sustainability of farm productivity depends on availability of natural resources like quality of soil and water. Natural resources can be useful for farm productivity by its conservation and continuous use. On the basis of this assumptions, National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture is being implemented. Main component of this scheme are as follows:
    • Rain fed Area Development (RAD)
    • Soil Health Management (SHM)
      • Soil Health
      • Soil Health Card
      • Paramparagat Krishi Vikash Yojna (PKVY)
  • Under the scheme for grant on certified Seed, the certified seed is made available to the farmers on subsidized rate. Expenditure on this head is born 100% by the state government.
  • Scheme for promotion of Hybrid Seeds: To maintain the food safety of state and the nation, get more production of food grain and to increase the income of 90% small and marginal farmers of the state, the state government is providing hybrid seed giving more production on subsidized rate under this scheme
  • Ton reduce the adverse effect of chemical pesticides, scheme for, disease/pest control through ecological resources is being implemented. Under the scheme, program for disease/pest control through the use of techniques like bio-agents, bio-pesticides and integrated insect control management
  • Agriculture Extension, Farm Inputs and Technology Management for growth in Farm Production: This scheme is being implemented for extension of latest knowledge, latest scientific system and different technology management so that it can reach to the farmers.
  • Establishment of Solar Photo-Voltaic Irrigation Pump: This scheme is being implemented for promotion of maximum use of alternate energy, reduce dependency on traditional source of energy and environmental adaptability.
  • Under transparent service scheme by use of information technology for agriculture development/D.B.T. the amount of grant is transferred directly in the bank account of beneficiary farmer within three days from treasury/bank.
